EMPLOYMENT ONTARIO Employment Services Employment Services staff work with employers to support their hiring needs: job postings, candidate recruitment & screening, employee training, and job matching & placement services are available. Apprenticeship Scholarship & Employer Signing Bonus To encourage youth to return to school to upgrade education to minimum apprenticeship entrance requirements. If an individual achieves their goal within one year of registering in the program, they will receive a $1,000 scholarship upon being signed as an apprentice with a sponsor. The sponsor will also receive a $1,000 signing bonus. Another $1,000 payment is made to the sponsoring employer upon completion of six months of training. Summer Jobs Service Job postings for summer positions; Summer Jobs for Youth 6-week summer job placement program for youth with no work experience; 100% wage subsidy to the employer. Services available free of charge. |
