Bill 168: Presentation Resources

Bill 168 received Royal Assent on December 15, 2009. The amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Act will, therefore, come into force on June 15, 2010. At that time, workplaces in Ontario will be required to have the necessary policies, programs, measures and procedures in place.

Local employers were able to participate in an event at the Hampton Inn in Brantford, Ontario.  Presentations outlining details of Bill 168 as well as its implications were made by the Ministry of Labour, the Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA), the Farm Safety Association (FSA), and the Ontario Service Safety Alliance (OSSA).
